As a registered NGO based in Sri Lanka, we work worldwide with other like minded organizations – in WESH sectors and beyond – with the aim of helping communities to organize themselves, to build their capacity to improve their own livelihoods through a sustainable development process; “Community Self-Improvement and Empowerment”.

At COSI we believe that “universal access to potable water and basic sanitation” is fundamental and non-negotiable.

COSI is governed by board of directors who meets on regular intervals.

Our Team consists of experienced professionals including Civil Engineers, Hydrogeologists, Planners, Social Scientists, and Trainers who have extensive field experiences locally and internationally.

◘ Undertaking various consultancies including; baseline surveys, project planning and designing, monitoring & evaluation missions, & post project surveys
◘ Implementing action and applied researches
◘ Providing technical inputs to various development programmes in WESH sector
◘ Designing and conducting training courses tailor made to clients needs
◘ Development of Information, Education & Communication (IEC) material
◘ Workshop facilitating and moderation
◘ Preparation of process documentation
