COSI's Goals

• To strive to improve the well-being, health and living conditions of the underprivileged, both in rural and urban environments, through our support of local people’s initiatives in infrastructure development.

• To provide training to enable, encourage and empower people and their organisations to take control of their own development.

• To educate, motivate and organise children so that they play a key role in shaping the future of their communities.

• To provide hygiene education to local communities.

• To facilitate processes that create the proper institutional environment to enable communities to implement and sustain the improvements they aspire to.

• To help mobilise communities for sustainable infrastructure development through technical training and support.

• To work with other organisations to provide support services in documentation, research and demonstration of appropriate technologies and methods.
