COSI's Goals

• Contribute to and assist the local and other government agencies to the realization of WASH related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and SACOSAN commitments

• Act as a Knowledge Bank for local and regional Knowledge Management and Advocacy ; and conduct Action Researches promoting sectoral Best Practices

• Demonstrate the uses of Appropriate Technologies for low cost and sustainability

• Awareness raising and mitigation to battle Climate Change

• Use of Trainings and Capacity Building Activities at all levels with special focus on communities and front-line staff and community development workers
