Household Level Water Treatment

1. Bio Sand Filter (BSF) Training

The three days workshop will be taught by trainers trained by the Canadian inventors and Promoters (CAWST).

The participants get hands-on experiences on

· Understanding the making of a Mould

· Casting concrete filters using steel moulds

· Filter maintenance and Trouble Shooting

· Devising and Managing a filter project

The participants will get all designs, drawings, manual and a CD with all relevant literature.

Who can be a Participant?

· Experienced staff or program managers from development organisations

· Any individual working or having interest on drinking water issues

· Engineering College Teaching and Lab staff involved in water

No prior technical qualifications are compulsory however good academic background will be an advantage.
